Here it is.  The last question.

30. List 10 things you would hope to be remembered for.

1 - A positive attitude
2 - Sense of humor
3 - Commitment to my beliefs
4 - Good work ethic
5 - Memorable performances
6 - Love of dessert
7 - A quirky, yet tasteful style
8 - Making people laugh
9 - My ability to stay young at heart
10 - Handing out candy on the back row of the church once I hit the age of 50

The one thing I don't want to be remembered for:

"[My] ability to light up a room..." I think I have heard that phrase - or something very close to it - literally every time someone is asked to describe a deceased loved one.  Every.  Single.  Time.  I don't mean to be insensitive, but not everyone has the ability to light up a room...unless we're not speaking figuratively, because I suppose anyone can flip a light switch...

So friends, whaddya think?  How'ma doin' so far?  Aside from my apparent rampant disregard for elocution...

  1. Greg This is the first time I've check out your blog! and I love it! I think You already embody so many of those traits listed above. You're right about the "light up the room" being overused. I too would much rather be remembered handing out candy! ;-)
