Here it is. The last question.
30. List 10 things you would hope to be remembered for.
1 - A positive attitude
2 - Sense of humor
3 - Commitment to my beliefs
4 - Good work ethic
5 - Memorable performances
6 - Love of dessert
7 - A quirky, yet tasteful style
8 - Making people laugh
9 - My ability to stay young at heart
10 - Handing out candy on the back row of the church once I hit the age of 50
The one thing I don't want to be remembered for:
"[My] ability to light up a room..." I think I have heard that phrase - or something very close to it - literally every time someone is asked to describe a deceased loved one. Every. Single. Time. I don't mean to be insensitive, but not everyone has the ability to light up a room...unless we're not speaking figuratively, because I suppose anyone can flip a light switch...
So friends, whaddya think? How'ma doin' so far? Aside from my apparent rampant disregard for elocution...
Greg This is the first time I've check out your blog! and I love it! I think You already embody so many of those traits listed above. You're right about the "light up the room" being overused. I too would much rather be remembered handing out candy! ;-)
